At the cross her station keeping, Stood the mournful Mother weeping, Close to Jesus to the last. Through her heart, his sorrow sharing, All his bitter anguish bearing, Now at length the sword has passed. (Stabat Mater)
Dear Mary's Child,
It is important on this Feast Day of Our Lady of Sorrows to remember Mary’s pain. All our anguish and worries are miniscule compared to what Our Blessed Mother experienced on her sorrowful journey with Jesus her son.
Take a moment today to gaze upon the beautiful icon of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. It is frequently called the Passion Icon, because her image depicts her sorrows and the premonition of the Christ’s fateful crucifixion and death.
In Jesus through Mary,

P.S. Please share your sorrows with Our Mother of Perpetual Help. Send them to me and they will be presented before her original Passion icon in Rome.
