Our Mother of Perpetual Help

Dear Mary's Child,

Who are you praying for this All Souls Day?

I invite you to include your loved ones
in our Masses for All Souls.

On this Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed, you and I remember our beloved who have died by praying for them. Each year you and thousands of friends send me loved ones’ names to be included in the Redemptorists’ special week of All Souls Masses. You name grandparents, parents, uncles, aunts, friends, and even children who are deeply missed.

You and I pray for them, knowing that our prayers engage the help of the many Saints who desire all to see Heaven’s glory. I encourage you to seek the intercession of Our Mother of Perpetual Help in your prayers for your dearly departed. She who held the body of Jesus in her arms and grieved at his burial can understand the loss and sorrow you feel at the death of your loved ones.

Ask Mary to pray with you to obtain peace and joy with her in heaven for your beloved dead! Join me as we pray for and remember all our friends, family members and benefactors who have died in the Lord. “It is a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead.” (2 Maccabees 12:46)

Mother of Perpetual Help, lead us closer to Jesus!

In Jesus through Mary,

Br. Daniel Korn Signature

P.S. Please send me the names of your deceased loved ones today, so we can include them in a series of special Masses this first week of November.
